With the new, up and coming school year, fall sports are going to be a major opportunity for involvement. Fall sports are fun for everyone-especially with new freshmen. It’s also a great time for sophomores, juniors, and seniors, who seek an occasion to get included with their school.
According to an interview with Travis Abel-the sports director-he says that “football will have a high chance to make it to districts this year, with tryouts-including varsity-being finished.”
Additionally, Couch Abel has stated that he sees great potential in JV, with young talent showing, and Varsity. Currently, all the teams for fall sports have been determined and practicing for the time being.
He also illustrates his anticipation for more involvement of the swim & dive team among students. Alongside that, he hopes for more people to come out and watch the girls volleyball team play every now & then.
Parallel to the present-day, recently developed school year, Coach Abel says he is in the beginning stages of all athletic packets being digital, and students need to be aware of this – especially younger underclassmen who are trying out for the sports program. This hurts most people for not having it done online, and misuse their time searching for a paper copy. As long as you can get it done and filled out by deadline, you are eligible to participate.
Over and above that, Coach Abel says he would like to have students participate and come out to watch. Going back to what was previously stated-the girls volleyball team-they have worked very hard to get where they are, and it would be appealing to see the stands packed for them.
Closing off, with the sustained rising school year, these subsisting changes and preceding information is crucial to understanding how fall sports will go this year, and any knowledgeable concerns one may have about this current year.
