Palm Beach Central has two portable areas from 1 to 17, but they weren’t always portable. Like some of the other doors in the school, they used to be empty lawns. A portable classroom is a type of portable building installed at a school to accommodate space for long or short-term classes.
After talking to Mrs.Butler she revealed that portables 1-9 were built in the school’s second year of being open, 2005. Portables 10-17 were built two years later. They were added to the school with its growing population, the school wasn’t built with them already planning to install portables. The portables are maintained as needed by the district. Usually, they are either a shade of grey or beige.

Overall, the decision to install portables was a while ago. However, they work the same as any normal building even though they may have been installed later than the other buildings.
